SoapWerks & Werking Studio has been in business since 1997. Our mission:
"SoapWerks & Werking Studio is dedicated to preserving the importance of the handmade object. We provide products and educational opportunities for people that foster their connection with traditions, the earth, and each other. We strive to create an abundant company through ecologically-responsible conduct and through respect for our employees, suppliers, artisans, and customers."
Company History
Kathy is an active member of the Kentucky artisan community. She is a juried member of the Kentucky Craft Marketing program and the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen. In addition, she manages the Kentucky Artisan Heritage Trails project (
www.kaht.com) a web-based driving trail highlighting the culture and heritage of Appalachian Kentucky.
